Fernando Augusto dos Santos Neto
Painter, draftsman, photographer, born in Medeiros Neto, Bahia, Brazil.
Works by shedding light on personal daily life, interpersonal relationships, culture and traditions of small Brazilian villages and the scene of family life. He obtained a Master’s in Art in Communication and Semiotics at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Sao Paulo and a Doctorate in Communication and Semiotics at the University of Paris I. He is professor of art at the State University of Espírito Santo (UFES), lives and works in Vitória, Espirito Santo.

Painter, designer, photographer, he thinks about painting, photography, sculpture and design himself. It is from the design that the artist has built all his work, seeking to illuminate the daily life of people, inter-cultural relations, culture, artistic tradition and the dinners of Brazilian life. Besides design, he is also a photographer and writer and participates in various books, art exhibition catalogs and creating artists’ books.
